18th FMSC Research Sessions

The FMSC Research Sessions are held biannually with the intention of providing a platform for researchers and young academics of the faculty to share their research findings and promote a vibrant research culture within our Faculty. The 18th in this series conducted on 10th February 2021 at New Boardroom – FMSC. The chief guest of the session was Prof. P.D. Nimal, the Dean of the Faculty. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Janaka Fernando, Senior Lecturer, Department of Business Economics, in the research based on Brain Circulation in the Knowledge Services Industry in Sri Lanka. As the special speaker the session, Senior Professor (Mrs.) R. Lalitha S. Fernando, Department of Public Administration, shared her experience on the application of mix method in research.

The session served as a platform to promote intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary research culture in the Faculty by presenting four extended abstracts. Dr. (Mrs) Pavithra Madhuwanthi, Harshana Madubhasha, Sachinthanee Dissanayake, Shehani Shanika and Thilani Navaratne presented their research papers in the 18th FMSC Research Sessions.
