
Education Cooperation and Exchanges Fair – China
Dr. U. Anura Kumara, Dean Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC), University of Sri Jayewardenapura (USJ) and Dr.W.G.S.Kelum, Head Department of Accounting, participated at an Education Cooperation and Exchanges Fair among countries on Silk Road in Xi’an, China from 22nd May to 25th May 2015. During this visit Dean, FMSC was able to sign two agreements.
Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the School of Management, Xi,an Jiotong University and the FMSC to establish international cooperation and create mutual benefits through the exchange of faculty members, exchange of students, cooperation on postgraduate, post doctorate programs and executive development programs and conducting Chinese training programmes.
FMSC was also able to sign a common agreement of educational cooperation among twelve management schools from several other countries under the Management Schools Alliance of the One Belt and One Road concept, in order to promote and build a new platform for management education cooperation among countries and regions along the Silk Road.
