ICREMV 2024 Pre-Conference Workshop 01: A Successful Launch of the Conference!

We are thrilled to announce that ICREMV 2024 officially commenced on October 10, 2024, with the pre-conference workshop I. This marked a significant milestone in ICREMV’s history as we successfully connected two countries and two locations, Sri Lanka and India, working simultaneously on the same workshop.

This workshop on ‘Valuation of Tourism and Hospitality’ held from 10.00a.m. to 5.00p.m physically in India and streamed online via Zoom, saw excellent participation from over 350 online participants and over 100 physical participants at both locations in Sri Lanka and India. The workshop featured attendees from diverse backgrounds, including representatives from the Government Valuation Department, Colombo Municipal Council, Urban Development Authority, numerous private real estate companies as well as academics, scholars, and students from Sri Lanka, India, and other countries.

We extend our special thanks to Associate Prof. Shekhar Nagargoje, Associate Director Programmes, MBA Real Estate & Urban Infrastructure, RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University, Mumbai Campus, India, for joining the workshop as the resource person. Additionally, we appreciate the excellent support and cooperation from the entire team of the RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University, India being the academic partner of ICREMV 2024.
