Pre-Orientation Intensive Course in English – Intake 2016/17
The Pre-Orientation Intensive Course in English conducted by the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 09th October to 27th October 2017.
The following students have been selected for the mentioned course based on their performance at the Selection Test in English conducted by the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce on 25th September 2017.
This is a three-week course and it comprises basic knowledge and skills in the English language. It has been designed to prepare you to start your studies in the English medium and this course will be followed by the Orientation Programme and the degree programme.
This is a full-time course and lectures will be conducted on weekdays and Saturdays from 7.00a.m. to 5.00p.m. All the selected students will be provided with temporary hostel facilities during the Intensive Course in English. However, granting of hostel facilities to you during this English Course is only a temporary arrangement and you must vacate the hostel by 12.00 noon on 28th October 2017, the day following the end of the course. The students, who are eligible for the hostel facilities for the first academic year, are advised to apply at the Orientation Programme.
You are requested to come to Prof. R. A. A. Perera Hall of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura on 09th October 2017 by 7:30am for the Inauguration Ceremony.
Please note that it is compulsory for you to participate in the Pre-Orientation Intensive Course in English.
