WELCOME TO THE ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2026
The Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura is looking forward to welcoming new students to the faculty for the academic year 2024/2025, as the pioneering Management Faculty in Sri Lanka to commence the new academic year for students who sat for the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination in 2024.
The dates of the FMSC student orientation programme were revised due to the prevailing situation in the country, and it will now start on 16th December 2025 at the Bandaranayake Hall of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 8.00 a.m. onwards.
The student orientation programme provides a unique opportunity for you to learn about FMSC’s academic opportunities while getting to know your new batch mates. This programme aims to cover practical aspects pertaining to living and studying in the University and the Faculty so that you can be ready to begin your studies with confidence.
Moreover, the programme will include an introduction to the University, the Faculty, and the facilities available for students. All the members of the university community will be happy to guide you and answer your questions. We wish you all the best and look forward to meeting you very soon.
