Progress on the Proposed Silk Road Academy
A special discussion was held with the Vice President of Zhejiang Shuren University regarding the proposed establishment of the Silk Road Academy as a collaborative initiative between the two universities.
The Vice President emphasized the strong commitment of the leadership of Zhejiang Shuren University towards establishing the Academy and informed that several discussions had already been conducted with the Zhejiang Provincial Government regarding its implementation.
According to the Vice President, the Provincial Government has highlighted the importance of developing partnerships with private-sector industries to successfully achieve the objectives of the Silk Road Academy. Such collaborations are expected to facilitate industry engagement, applied research activities, innovation projects, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
An important opportunity discussed during the meeting was the possibility of obtaining laboratory equipment and technical facilities through private-sector partnerships associated with the Academy.
