The annual academic field visit of Dept. of Public Administration
The annual academic field visit was conducted by the Department of Public Administration on 23rd & 24th of March 2016, under the course of Public Management to observe the progress of post rehabilitation and reconstruction process of war victims in Jaffna. An initial discussion was held with the government officers of “Valikamam North – Tellipalai” Divisional Secretariat. Later, 100 internally displaced families were interviewed by the 3rd year students of the Department to examine their current socio-economic status and to identify their expectations towards reconstruction and rehabilitation. Also 33,030 Rs. worth of dry foods were distributed to the displaced people during this survey.
